Correctional Services is Growing – Staffing Planner for Skenäs Prison

Correctional Services is growing – we are building new, renovating, and expanding, and are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society becomes safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, community service, remand facilities, and client transport.

Skenäs Prison will be upgraded from security class 3 to security class 2, which means a strong focus on general security work. The prison will also house a care department that will feature a mix of security and health care work.

Skenäs Prison is located in Vikbolandet, about thirty kilometers outside Norrköping and is not connected to public transport. The remand facility is located in central Norrköping.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a staffing planner, you will work with both short- and long-term planning of personnel. Primarily, you will plan the staff belonging to Skenäs Prison and Norrköping Remand Facility, but you are also expected to support colleagues working in other areas of the Region. You will be part of the Coordinated Staffing team, where the majority of the workgroup is located at the regional office in Linköping. However, your role will be locally placed at Skenäs Prison, with regular travel to Linköping expected.

In your role as a staffing planner, you will work with:

• Continuous contact with core operations to meet the daily needs of the business
• Working with short- and long-term vacancies
• Vacation and training planning
• Forecasting and planning staffing in a quality-assured and efficient manner
• Planning personnel according to laws, routines, and collective agreements
• Proactively working to achieve set goals

We are now looking for another staffing planner for a permanent position in an exciting and important role.

QUALIFICATIONS

You work well with complex issues and can analyze difficult problems. In your work, you plan, organize, and prioritize your tasks effectively. You can see the bigger picture and take into account the broader perspective. It is important that you have good administrative skills.

We are looking for you who have:

• High school diploma or other education combined with experience that Correctional Services deems relevant
• Experience in staffing planning, both short- and long-term
• Experience with larger personnel and staffing systems, such as Heroma
• Good knowledge of laws and agreements (labor law, working time regulations, policies, etc.)
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
• Driving license B

It is an advantage if you have:

• Post-secondary education in labor law, human resources
• Post-secondary education in payroll administration
• Experience working in the public sector
• Experience with state collective agreements
• Experience in payroll administration
• Experience with Heroma
